da bet7: GOAL runs through the top talents being tipped to join one of England's richest teams at the end of the season
da pixbet: Let's be honest: the January transfer window was dreadfully dull. Nearly nothing happened. The hope must be that England's top clubs are finally seeing sense and starting to control their spending.
What's far more likely, though, is that they were simply spooked by a Premier League that suddenly wants to start enforcing its own Profit & Sustainability Rules (PSR), and will start splashing the cash again this summer when they all figure out exactly where they stand.
There will certainly be plenty of exciting talents seeking transfers at the end of the season, that's for sure. Indeed, as GOAL outlines below, there are a plethora of players outside of the Premier League's traditional 'Big Six' (Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea) that look ready to make a step up in class this summer…

Everton are understandably desperate to hold onto Branthwaite, the prodigious talent whom they shrewdly signed from Carlisle United in 2020 for just £750,000 ($940,000). The fact of the matter is, though, that Branthwaite is probably now worth at least 70 times that figure in the current market, and the Merseysiders might well be forced to cash in their most valuable asset this summer given their financial issues, which have put them at serious risk of relegation this season.
Even Real Madrid has been touted as a possible destination for the very highly rated 21-year-old, who also has plenty of admirers at Anfield and the Etihad Stadium.

Bowen could hardly be more popular with West Ham fans, having scored the goal that won the Conference League last season, while he's quite clearly revelling in the more central role he's been given this term by David Moyes.
However, if the 27-year-old wants to play Champions League football – and give himself any chance of becoming an England regular – he undeniably needs to move on this summer. He certainly wouldn't be short of suitors. A long-time target of Liverpool, he would add something to nearly every top-six side.

Eze maybe hasn't yet hit the heights of last season, which ended with him earning his first England cap and being linked with Manchester City, while he also signed a new contract at Selhurst Park in November.
However, all that renewal does is ensure that Palace will get a fair price for the 25-year-old when he eventually does move on, which is likely to be sooner rather than later.
Getty Evan Ferguson (Brighton)
Ferguson's enormous potential was there for all to see in his sensational hat-trick against Newcastle at the start of the season, and Roberto De Zerbi is adamant that the Ireland striker can become "the top scorer in Europe".
At this stage of his career, the teenager would clearly be best served by staying at the Amex for at least another couple of seasons – and remember Ferguson rejected Liverpool as a kid because he felt Brighton was the best place for him to develop. But it wouldn't be a shock to see a club as desperate as Chelsea try to sign the Premier League's next great No.9 this summer.
